Shopify integration

Live chat AI agent
for your Shopify store.

Your shop domain and an Admin API token, and Aiva answers from your products and orders. On a mixed order it can say which half was emailed and which half is with the carrier.

What your customers
ask on the page.

Shopify runs your catalog, your orders and your fulfilment. Assistify adds the conversation on the page, and it reads both halves of an order that carries digital and physical items.

In their own words

  • Where is the digital part of my order?
  • Has my parcel shipped?
  • Does this work on my version?
  • Can I get my invoice again?

What Aiva reads
in your store.

Your shop domain and an Admin API access token. Assistify reads through the Admin GraphQL API, and reads fulfilment state only where an order actually contains physical items.

What never
reaches Aiva.

Keys, serials, download links and credentials are dropped before your store's reply becomes anything Aiva can read. Your platform already delivers them. Aiva confirms an order was paid and says where it went. It cannot read what was sent.

Aiva reads

  • Order status, amount, dates
  • What an order contains
  • Catalog, prices, stock
  • Account totals

Stays in your store

  • Keys and serials
  • Download links and files
  • Account credentials
  • Everything you deliver

Questions about
Shopify and Assistify.

Once the visitor verifies their email, yes. It can list their own orders with date, amount and status, open one to read the items, and read their account totals. The email comes from the verified contact record and never from the chat, so it cannot open an order belonging to somebody else.

That is the case it is built for. Payment state and fulfilment state are read separately, and an order counts as shipped or delivered only when it actually contains physical items. A digital only order is never described in shipping language, which is a common way for an automated reply to confuse a buyer.

Read access to products, orders and customers. Assistify sends GraphQL queries and never mutations, so nothing in the integration can change an order, a product or a customer record. The token is encrypted when you save it and never displayed again, and you can narrow it further by switching lookups off.

Aiva reads the order and its fulfilment state from Shopify itself, so whichever app delivers the file or the key, the status it reports is the one Shopify holds. The deliverable stays with that app. Aiva confirms the order was paid and says where the delivery went.

Connect it
in a few minutes.

  1. 01

Create a custom app in Shopify

Give it read access to products, orders and customers, then install it for an Admin API token.

  2. 02

    Paste it into Assistify

Pick Shopify under Integrations, with your shop domain. Assistify queries your shop once before saving.

  3. 03

Choose what Aiva may look up

All six lookups arrive on. Turn off any you would rather it did not use.

Every platform

One connection per platform, held by the widget that needs it. A store selling through more than one of these connects each of them in the same workspace.
