Questions about Google Docs

What does Assistify need to connect Google Docs?

A sign-in to your Google account. In Google’s own file picker, you pick the documents or folders Assistify may read, up to 1,000 documents, and Assistify reads nothing else.

How often are Google Docs synced?

Every day, or every week if you prefer. Each sync reads only the documents edited since the last one, and your team can start a sync at any time.

Can customers see my Google Docs?

No. Aiva answers from them, and articles your team imports from Google Docs stay internal: they never appear on your help center or in Webchat.

What happens if access to Google Docs is revoked?

The connection is marked as disconnected and the members who can reconnect it receive an email. Signing in again resumes the sync.

Which plans include the Google Docs integration?

Every plan. A Google Docs connection counts as one knowledge source, and Aiva answers from it on the plans that include Aiva. The plan comparison has the details.
